🚨 In Loving Memory — Gone Too Soon 🚨
04-30-2026 marks a heartbreaking day as we remember a life lost in a tragic motorcycle accident near South 193rd East Ave & South Cherokee Street in Catoosa.
A motorcycle traveling northbound collided with an SUV moving through the intersection, and in a matter of seconds, everything changed. Witnesses say the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran a red light. First responders arrived quickly and did everything they could, performing life-saving measures right there at the scene.
But despite those efforts, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased.
One moment. One decision. One life gone.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital for evaluation—another life impacted by an event that will never be forgotten.
Today, we remember Russell.
A name. A person. A life that mattered. Someone who had a story, people who cared, and moments that will now live on only in memory.
This is a painful reminder of how quickly things can change on the road. Speed, timing, and a single choice can alter countless lives forever.
Please—ride safe. Drive aware. Respect the rules of the road.
Not just for yourself, but for everyone around you.
And beyond that…
Hold your loved ones close.
Check in on your people.
Don’t leave words unsaid.
Because tomorrow is never promised.
Rest in peace, Russell.
You are gone, but you will not be forgotten. 🕊️
