According to the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash occurred just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday along LA 1 northbound, just south of the Intracoastal Waterway near the OYO Motel and RaceTrac area. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but tragically, Taniya did not survive her injuries.
