In Loving Memory of Chasity Ervin 🕊️
A night that began like any other turned into an unimaginable tragedy, leaving a family shattered and a community in mourning. In the Raleigh area, a devastating late-night crash claimed the life of 33-year-old Chasity Ervin, a woman whose life was taken far too soon.
According to the Memphis Police Department, the crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Stage Road near Robbiedon Street. Authorities say a Nissan Murano, driven by 33-year-old Travis Johnson, lost control, struck a median, and overturned—creating a chaotic and heartbreaking scene.
Chasity, who was a passenger in the vehicle, tragically died as a result of the crash. Her sudden passing has left an indescribable void in the lives of her loved ones. She is remembered as a woman whose presence brought meaning, love, and warmth to those fortunate enough to know her.
Also inside the vehicle were two innocent children—just 1 year old and 2 months old—who sustained critical injuries. They were rushed to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, where they continue to fight for their lives, surrounded by hope and prayers.
Investigators reported signs of impairment at the scene, noting alcohol may have played a significant role in this tragedy. The driver was later taken into custody and now faces multiple charges.
Today, we remember Chasity Ervin not for the way she left this world, but for the life she lived and the love she gave. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.
May her soul rest in peace, and may her loved ones find strength in the days ahead. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. đź’”
