Today, our hearts are heavy. It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the loss of our band sister, Savanna Jones. 💛🎺

We’ve lost not just a band member, but a sister, a friend, and a powerful voice in our sound. Savanna brought energy, passion, and love to everything she did, and her presence will be deeply missed in every rehearsal, every performance, and every shared moment on and off the field.

As a cherished member of the music community at Wilberforce University, she carried herself with dedication and pride. Her trombone wasn’t just an instrument—it was an extension of her spirit, and through it she inspired those around her more than words can express.

The rhythm feels quieter now, and the space she once filled feels impossible to replace. But her impact remains—echoing in our memories, in our music, and in the bonds she helped strengthen within our band family.

We will remember Savanna for her light, her laughter, her talent, and the love she gave so freely.
