In Loving Memory of Chad Shepler

Family, friends, and the community of Jenera, Ohio, are mourning the tragic loss of Chad Shepler, 30, whose life was cut short in a devastating two-vehicle crash on the morning of June 16, 2026.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Findlay Post, the collision occurred at approximately 5:58 a.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and County Road 15 in Orange Township. Chad was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 westbound on Lincoln Highway as he approached the intersection.

At the same time, a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Gregory Miron, 57, of Ada, Ohio, was traveling northbound on County Road 15. Preliminary findings indicate that the Chevrolet Cruze failed to yield at the stop sign and entered the intersection, striking the driver’s side door of Chad’s vehicle.

Following the impact, both vehicles traveled off the northwest side of the roadway and came to rest in a nearby field. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Chad tragically lost his life at the scene.

Chad’s sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his life, his presence, and the memories he shared with family and friends.

As the community grieves this heartbreaking loss, they also come together to honor and celebrate Chad’s life—a life gone far too soon but never to be forgotten.

May his soul rest in peace.
