In Loving Memory of Noah Foster

Our parish family is filled with deep sorrow and heartbreak as we mourn the sudden passing of Noah Foster, age 21, on Monday morning. His loss has shaken our community, leaving behind a silence that is felt in every corner of our parish and in the hearts of all who knew him.

Noah was the beloved grandson of longtime and devoted Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church parishioners, Lois and Steve Coney. Through them, and through his own quiet presence, Noah was a part of a faith-filled family rooted in love, kindness, and service. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact of his life will not be forgotten.

He will be remembered as a young man full of promise, whose life held so much hope for the future. To his family, he was a cherished son, a loving brother, and a treasured grandson. To others, he was a friend, a companion, and a light whose presence brought comfort in ways both big and small. The memories he created—moments of laughter, shared stories, and simple acts of love—will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

In this time of unimaginable grief, we unite as a parish community to lift his family in prayer. We ask for God’s boundless mercy and compassion to surround his parents, Travis and Shannon (Coney) Foster, and his sister, Ally, as they navigate this profound loss. May they feel the embrace of faith and the strength of a community standing beside them.

We also pray for his aunt, Amanda, and her daughters, asking that they be granted comfort and peace in the days ahead. And we hold close in our prayers his grandparents, Lois and Steve, who now carry the heavy sorrow of losing a beloved grandson. May God grant them strength, consolation, and the assurance that Noah is now held in eternal love.

As people of faith, we entrust Noah to the Lord, believing that his life, though brief, was meaningful and filled with purpose. May he find eternal rest in God’s presence, where there is no pain or sorrow, only peace and everlasting light.

Though our hearts are broken, we find solace in prayer, in one another, and in the promise that love endures beyond this life. Noah’s memory will continue to live on—in the stories we share, the love we carry, and the faith that binds us together.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
